CoinTracker was founded in 2017 to become the leading accounting solution for crypto users. Since then, they’ve launched at Y Combinator, raised a $100M Series A and surpassed the 2 million customers mark. Set to express their mission and position in the ever-evolving crypto industry, CoinTracker approached us to elevate its brand. Following a thorough strategy phase, we helped them design a new visual identity, build a new website, and develop an industry-leading B2B digital asset accounting product, CoinTracker Enterprise.

With this rebrand, we aimed to enable users to experience crypto accounting in perfect flow. In close collaboration with the CoinTracker design team, we crafted a new tone of voice and messaging framework that emphasises CoinTracker’s effortless accounting products, but also sets the tone for the future of crypto. Avoiding worn out tropes, we went for an expressive visual identity that is enhanced by vibrant illustrations and a custom typeface. Working from the outside in, we rebuild the entire brand, introduced a new design system and implemented UI to support exciting new user experiences across all surfaces, including the website and a new product.
