World Labs. Collaborating closely with the researchers at World Labs, we designed and built the first version of Marble, enabling users to generate and explore 3D worlds from a single image, video or text prompt.

A woman wears a set of VR glasses. She is sitting, we see her from the back.

We partnered with the researchers at World Labs to bring the first version of Marble to life. Founded by visionary AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li, World Labs is a spatial intelligence company building Large World Models to perceive, generate, and interact with the 3D world. Marble is their first product, enabling users to view and create their own 3D worlds from a single image or text prompt. Having raised $230 million, Marble marks the first step toward World Labs' mission to lift AI models from the 2D plane of pixels into full 3D worlds — both virtual and real — endowing them with spatial intelligence as rich as our own.

Working hand-in-hand with the World Labs team, we helped turn their research into the first version of a product. Acting as their in-house product design team, we shaped the UI and interaction flows while building the front-end foundation: implementing multi-image uploading and cropping, optimizing performance for faster load times, and developing the gallery that showcases the ever-expanding universe of worlds. With no existing playbook for turning World Lab’s breakthrough research into a usable product, we helped define one from the ground up.
