We’re looking for a part-time Product Storytelling Designer (60%) to join our team in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Oslo.

As a Freelance Product Storytelling Designer (60%), you'll help shape and execute BB’s communication strategies, focusing on developing new visual languages and storytelling formats for our tech-driven product work. You’ll collaborate closely with the communications and product teams to craft narratives that boost our visibility and reputation within the tech and design communities.

  • Process Oversight: Coordinate with team members and external creatives (motion designers, illustrators, etc.) to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality output.
  • Industry Awareness: Keep BB connected to the latest trends in tech, design, and communication to maintain relevance and inspiration.

Deliverables

  • Content: Plan, create, and publish web and social content in alignment with BB’s overarching comms strategy—with a focus on fresh, accessible ways of communicating complex product and development work.
  • Impact Reports: Deliver quarterly performance reports with insights and clear recommendations.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong visual storytelling instincts, especially within a tech or product-driven context.
  • Ability to synthesize broad strategic goals into high-quality, cross-platform content.
  • Clear communicator, both visually and verbally, with a knack for translating technical topics into accessible messages.
  • Sensitivity to different cultural contexts and a global perspective on communication.
  • Experience in content creation within digital or creative agencies.
  • Proficiency with Figma and Sanity (or similar CMS tools).
  • Fluency in English.

This is a freelance, part-time position (approximately 24h per week). We’re looking for someone who can contribute consistently and meaningfully over a longer period of time, with a flexible schedule that works well for both sides.
